S.J. is just two classes away from a master's degree in magazine, newspaper and online journalism. When she's not in class, she writes for The Post-Standard, the daily newspaper for Syracuse, N.Y., and contributes to Religion News Service, Hornpipe Magazine and The Buffalo Irish Times.

This Buffalo, N.Y. native has a dual bachelor's degree in communication studies and religious studies from Canisius College, loves Irish dancing and Tim Hortons coffee.
