Matthew Doxtad

Matthew Doxtad is a graduate student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in the Magazine, Newspaper, and Online Journalism program. 

Born in Galva, Iowa, Doxtad attended the University of Iowa where he majored in Cinema.  Since graduation, Doxtad has worked at bookstores in New York City and Austin, Texas, done manual labor throughout the Midwest, and, most recently, written a comic in Athens, Georgia.  

Doxtad is interested in social media, web design, and analysis of the role of zombies in popular culture.
