Madison Flavin

Madison Flavin grew up in Houston, TX.  While at Syracuse University, she received bachelors degrees in Selected Studes in Education and in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture, graduating in May 2015.  Fluent in Spanish since the age of three, she spent a semester abroad in Santiago de Chile during the fall semester of 2013.  A student in Newhouse's Goldring Arts Journalism program at Syracuse University, Madison contributes regularly to the Life & Style page of The NewsHouse. She also has experience in using social media outlets for live event coverage. Her hobbies include going to the movies, going to the theatre, reading, writing, travelling, and learning about other cultures, both nationally and internationally.
