Kathleen Ronayne

Kathleen Ronayne is a senior studying newspaper journalism and political science. She served as managing editor of The Daily Orange, Syracuse's independent student newspaper, during her junior year. She continues to work at the paper, focusing on editor and reporter training.She also serves as teaching assistant to Professor Charlotte Grimes, updating and managing the political news website, Democracywise, put together by the class.

In summer 2011, Kathleen interned as a reporter for OpenSecrets Blog, a website that covers money-in-politics news. She also interned at The Daily Gazette in Schenectady, N.Y. during summer 2010.
