Kathleen Hessman

Kathleen is a Goldring Arts Journalist at Syracuse University, with writing concentrations in Food & Wine and Musical Theater.

She is a magna cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. with a B.A. in broadcast journalism and a minor in theater. Kathleen hosted a radio show for three years covering theater news on Quinnipiac’s radio station WQAQ-FM. She has interned at CNN in New York City for “CNN Heroes” and WFSB-TV in Hartford, Conn. She was the Entertainment Anchor for two years and main news anchor her senior year at Quinnipiac’s TV station, Q30 News. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta (National Communications Honor Society) and Alpha Psi Omega (National Theater Honor Society). Kathleen hopes to combine her love of the arts and broadcasting to become a digital arts reporter.
