Kaitlyn Richards

Kaitlyn is a senior Broadcast Journalism and Political Science major at Syracuse University who aspires to one day work for Frontline or 60 Minutes as a producer.

She currently reports weekly for WAER, an NPR affiliate out of Syracuse, covering all local Central New York news. She ha reported on everything from trials to art fairs, and loves meeting the many personalities of her hometown.

She is also an executive producer for Citrus TV, the campus news station, and reports for them as well.  Her past internships include producing at CNY Central in Syracuse and WBNG in Binghamton. She has experience running shows at both small and large market sizes.

She looks forward to finishing her final year at Syracuse University and finding a place to call her first job in the business.
