Jessica Novak

Jess is a recent graduate of James Madison University where she studied Communication and Music Industry. She has written for Beyond Race Magazine, Haydenfilms.com, Jerk Magazine and was a senior writer for the JMU student newspaper, The Breeze. Jess has also worked at WHTZ: Z100 in New York City, the Paul Green School of Rock Music and CNY Jazz Central. Her first taste of music included a delicious mixture of Cream, Kool and the Gang, the soundtrack to Godspell, Jaco Pastorius and the Suzuki Method of Violin which she enjoyed at the prime age of seven. 

Jess lives by a motto similar to that of the Paul Green School of Rock Music. They "save rock & roll one kid at a time", she saves it one article at a time.
