About Me:

I am currently in my junior year at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I am pursuing a major in Broadcast and Digital Journalism with a minor in Political Science.

Along with writing and reporting for the Newshouse, I work as a radio reporter for the NPR affiliate WAER-FM news. There, I conduct my own interviews with members of the Syracuse community, write scripts, record natural sound, and put a whole piece together for the station's evening newscast.

This past summer I interned at Long Island's local news station, News 12 Long Island. As I shadowed its morning reporter, I also got the chance to sharpen my writing skills by creating some standups of my own. I also had the chance to shoot video for packages, rewrite stories for later shows, answer phone calls at the assignment desk, and research story ideas for each newscast.
