Alyssa Henry

Alyssa Henry graduated with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in May. She is now a graduate student studying Information Management at SU's School of Information Studies. She is a lead producer and social media guru for The NewsHouse, so make sure to check out The NewsHouse twitter account, @NewsHouse. We're on Facebook and Digg too!

Alyssa recently participated in the Syracuse University COLAB Social Media Futures Charrette, a 3-day program focused on the topic of business potentials in the evolution of social media culminating in a presentation to members of the Syracuse business community. To learn more about the charrette, read blog posts about the event and her group's presentation.

Alyssa also organized and executed the NewsHouse Tweet & Seek, a week long Twitter-based contest.

Alyssa has previously interned at MTV Networks, The Staten Island Advance, and Quest Media Entertainment, Inc. She is originally from Staten Island, N.Y.
