The Orange Card: Red, White and Boos

The third episode of our soccer podcast features host Erica Pieschke and analysts Erin Fish and Jared Bomba to talk SU soccer.

Syracuse men's soccer opened its ACC schedule with a 1-1 draw at Virginia following a penalty by Hugo Delhommelle. This was a massive result for Coach Ian McIntyre ahead of their final non-ACC games.

SU women's soccer had mixed results, with a 1-0 home loss vs. Colgate followed by a 1-0 home win against Harvard. The latter showed much improvement, which Coach Phil Wheddon will look for his team to continue as ACC play begins.

The U.S. men's national team drew 1-1 in Honduras following a late goal by American forward Bobby Wood. The U.S. currently sit in fourth place, which would see them play in a play-off game to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. This week's edition of the top 10 soccer stories includes the Premier League games and international qualification matches.
