This week on the Cuse Quarter, Host Monica Ortiz speaks with Tommy Farrell, Julian Whigham and Jon Singh about last week's 34-25 loss to NC State and previews the upcoming game against Pittsburgh.

Syracuse is looking for its first ACC win of the season. The team predicts whether they will get it at a packed Carrier Dome, or if they will have to wait until Oct. 13 when they host the defending national champion Clemson Tigers.

Syracuse Style brought local retailers and fashion lovers together to showcase the hottest trends this season on Thursday night.

The Downtown Committee of Syracuse, Inc and Syracuse Fashion Week co-produced the seventh semi-annual fashion show despite the last minute change of venues from Armory Square’s Walton Street to the historic Landmark Theatre.

The professional theater has partnered with the university's drama department for 40 years, allowing students to work alongside their professors, faculty and other professionals.

Scores of students sit outside the former Regent’s Theater, laughing, running lines and soaking up the sunshine. The plaza is lined with futuristic chrome walls, the light bouncing off almost blinding passersby.

The building behind the small set of walls is the Syracuse Stage. Patrons entering the lobby are met with a cool, shady atrium lined with photos from past and present shows.

A gaggle of eager prospective students show up to Syracuse Stage, hoping to gain entry to the Syracuse University Department of Drama.

Onondaga County addresses flaws in their criminal justice system after $2 million settlement

After a $2 million settlement was awarded to five New York counties, Onondaga County still struggles to meet demands of the criminal justice system.

The violation of the constitution has come at a price for New York state. In 2007 a lawsuit, Hurrell-Harring v. New York, was brought against five New York counties: Onondaga, Ontario, Schuyler, Suffolk and Washington.

The lawsuit sought to ensure that a lawyer represents every poor criminal defendant at their initial court appearance and that lawyers are adequately prepared to contest the charges being brought, to reduce the caseloads of public defense attorneys and to ensure criminal defendants received proper defense.

A light drizzle didn’t stop hundreds from swarming Clinton Square on Saturday morning to support the March for Science, a worldwide movement that took place in six continents and all 50 states in the U.S.

Hungry Chuck's Cafe sees huge turnout for last night at current location

Over the course of Tuesday evening, hundreds of students and local residents trickled into the popular bar one last time.

Yes, hundreds of Syracuse University students paid the $20 cover to drink one last pitcher of cheap beer and paint their names on the walls of Hungry Chuck’s Café before it closed for good on Tuesday.

Before the doors were supposed to open at 7 p.m., at least 50 people were already lined up in the alleyway outside the popular student bar. Bodyguards tried to corral students into a single-file line, delaying the official opening of Chuck’s last night by 25 minutes.
