Syracuse University Women's Soccer beat Harvard 1-0 off a Harvard own goal in the 49th minute.

After the shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of Colgate, Syracuse women's soccer wanted to get in another win before its ACC schedule begins. When they welcomed the Harvard Crimson, they wanted to get the win.
That's exactly what happened. In the 49th minute, freshman Kate Hostage put pressure on the Harvard defense, which led to a pass to the Harvard goalkeeper Kat Hess. The ball rolled past her swinging leg, and that ended up being the final result.
