At a Press Conference, Dino Babers was introduced to the SU Orange after leading Bowling Green University to a MAC Championship this season.

On Monday, Coach Dino Babers became the 30th football coach in Syracuse history when he was introduced at a press conference by SU athletics director, Mark Coyle.

Syracuse fans enjoyed the festivities at this year's annual Fan Fest, getting their first look at this season's football team.

On Friday afternoon, Syracuse fans young and old gathered at Schwartzwalder-Katz practice fields to see their football team play for the first time since last year.

Syracuse Fan Fest gave members of Orange Nation many options of entertainment. Kids could go jump in the bounce houses, parents could mingle and find friends, and families wandered around, eating free ice cream and making there way to a good seat.

But, no matter what their agenda, almost everyone stopped in their tracks when the clock struck 4 p.m.

With all eyes on the backup quarterbacks coming into Saturday’s Big East football game between fifth-ranked Cincinnati and Syracuse, the Bearcats rode the plays of its second-string signal caller, Zach Collaros, to a 28-7 victory in the Dome before an announced Halloween attendance of 33,802 on Saturday afternoon.

Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone preaches preparation, expecting each Orange player to be ready to perform at all times.  Saturday afternoon against Akron, Marrone found out if his players were listening.
