No. 5 Syracuse (11-4) capped off the regular season with a dominating effort on Senior Day, beating Colgate 18-3.

The Orange was never down this game, scoring 5 goals before the Raiders could even score one. Syracuse out-shot Colgate 17-3 in the first quarter to set the tone for the rest of the match. They never looked back after that, finishing with a 46-23 total shots advantage. Perhaps Syracuse’s most impressive in-game run this season was on display today, as an extended 11-0 run spanning from the 2nd (11:05) to last period (10:30) re-assured total control.

No makeup date has been set for the non-conference matchup.

Mother Nature made sure the Syracuse University men's soccer team didn't have a chance to build on its breakthrough victory over Virginia this past weekend.

The Orange's Tuesday night match against Colgate was cancelled due to lightning in the area around SU Soccer Stadium. No makeup date has been scheduled.

SU (8-1-0, 2-1-0 Atlantic Coast) will return to action on Saturday, as it travels to Blacksburg, Va., to face Virginia Tech at 7 p.m.

Early Raider goal too much to overcome for sluggish SU offense.

Syracuse came into Thursday’s showdown with Colgate riding a three-game winning streak, but had the wind taken out of its sails early against Colgate.

SU takes to the field for its second straight home game Saturday against Colgate.

During a broadcast last weekend, Syracuse alum and ESPN broadcaster Sean McDonough shared something that should be music to the ears of Syracuse football fans. While talking to Washington head coach Steve Sarkisian, McDonough said that the offensive guru was impressed with the Orange after their visit to out west.
