Four eco-friendly ways to wash your clothes.

In order to do your laundry in an environmentally friendly way, you no longer have to beat your clothes on a rock at the nearby creek. Here are some tips on how to save energy and time when washing your clothes:

1) Don’t wash them. This is easy. Wait as long as possible to have a full load, and wear things more than once. Airing out clothes in between wears on the back of a chair or a rack prepares them for the next time you put them on.

Common chats and raps about his philosophy and personal life at a crowded Hendrick's Chapel.

Common free-styled his way into the room, and into the hearts of Syracuse University students Tuesday night at Hendricks Chapel with a motivational speech and impromptu raps.

Common asked a member of the audience to choose any word for him to freestyle about. He began a freestyle rap stemming from the word “heaven,” and it somehow evolved to include Otto, Jim Boeheim, Wes Johnson, Acropolis, Marshall Street, and ‘Melo.

When Pat Manley made a giant cutout of Syracuse Basketball coach Jim Boeheim's head, he wasn't planning to start a phenomenon.

All his life, Pat Manley heard the criticisms of the Syracuse student section at the Carrier Dome. It was always too quiet, too boring. That it lacked the creativity of other, better student sections around the Big East.

It is a perception Manley, a current SU graduate student majoring in political science, set out to change. So when the opportunity arose to do something about it, he made sure to take advantage.

Local drag queen Nikki Fenmore and drag kings, Windz and Miles Long, visit SU to discuss "The Art of Drag."

Her golden-blonde hair rests on the collar of her black sweater, and her soft side bangs brush the thin, silver frame of her glasses. She smiles. Her lips are full and painted a deep, dusty-rose shade of pink. She sits, hands folded together with a shiny gold band on each ring finger, waiting for the others to arrive.
