Syracuse University Health Services released a chicken pox warning to students, faculty and staff, this morning. Four cases of the contagious respiratory illness have recently been reported on campus.
Individuals who were in close proximity to the four cases have already been contacted and arrangements have been made to vaccinate them, as needed. Students and SU community members are encouraged to check their heath records and evaluate their need for a chicken pox vaccine.

Stand-up comedian and star of "My Wife and Kids," Damon Wayans, is coming to Syracuse University to perform for homecoming weekend
This year’s Orange Central events will include a comedy show performance by stand-up comedian and television star, Damon Wayans.
The homecoming weekend concert will take place Oct. 16 in the Goldstein Auditorium in the Schine Student Center. The event starts at 8 p.m., but Wayne will kick-off the night at 7 p.m. with a pre-comedy show.
Wayans is well known for his successful comedy show, “In Living Color,” the sitcom, “My Wife and Kids” and a string of movies including, “Major Payne” and “The Last Boy Scout.”
This spring, the new program will bring students to Turkey's largest city.
