This week in SU music: More shows by campus acts, new Diplo tickets and another UU survey

A new batch of available Diplo tickets highlights the music happenings on campus this week.

Many campus acts have performances coming up in the next week. It starts tomorrow with the Northbound Traveling Minstrel Jug Band and their performance at the Red House opening for Hoots & Hellmouth. Sarongs then takes the stage with other local acts at the Lost Horizon on Saturday. Finally, Devon James and Chemicals of Creation keep the party going next weekend with a performance at the Spark Art Gallery on Friday, March 4.

The Diplo show sold out in barely two days so University Union decided to open up an additional 400 tickets for the balcony (on-sale today at 11 a.m.). UU also announced that the openers for the event would be rapper Rye Rye and indie rock act The Postelles.

Finally, UU released a survey last week asking students for feedback about speakers and comedians. While we're all still waiting for the results (and booking) from the last Block Party survey, I've got one musical act to suggest as a write-in on this one.
