Skizzy Mars and Kid Ink are first in line for Bandersnatch

The two rappers will kick off this years' series in The Schine Underground Monday, Oct. 15.

In the same fashion as last year's Bandersnatch Series, University Union is kicking off the year with a rap show. Los Angeles', Kid Ink will headline with support from Skizzy Mars.

Skizzy Mars will not have far to travel for this show. This Manhattan native has been earning attention in the blogosphere since the release of his cover of "Colours" by Grouplove was added to his repertoire. More of Skizzy Mars’ music, including his most popular track “D---bag,” can be heard on his Soundcloud page.

Headliner Kid Ink released his debut album, Up Up and Away, in June. Prior to releasing his full length, which debuted at No. 2 on rap charts and number three on hip-hop charts, Kid Ink had released three mixtapes. Best known for his first single, "Time of Your Life," Kid Ink has worked with stars from Sean Kingston to Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Last year, University Union followed up their first Bandersnatch show with a show that appealed to a crowd of a different nature. It seems as though this year, they may follow a similar trend. Walk The Moon had previously posted a tour date at Syracuse University on the same day that the second Bandersnatch is set to happen. The show has since been removed from Pollstar, but it wouldn't be a surprise if a band of pop-rock nature was up next in the series.

Tickets for Skizzy Mars and Kid Ink are now available at the Schine Box Office and are $5 for SU and ESF students.
