Comedian and actor Hasan Minhaj is coming to Syracuse University in late October. Thanks to a partnership between University Union and University Lectures, Minhaj will be in Goldstein Auditorium on Oct. 27 at 7:30 pm.
The Daily Show correspondent has been touring the country performing stand-up, and also has a special on Netflix. Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King gives Minhaj a chance to share personal stories on everything from racism to prom, and debuted to critical acclaim in New York City.
Minhaj was also the most recent host of the White House Correspondents' Dinner, the first dinner to be held while President Trump was in office. Minhaj earned positive reviews for his performance, despite the notable absence of many of the highest ranking members of the executive branch, including the president.
Minhaj's talk will be opened up for an audience Q&A afterwards.
Tickets for Hasan Minhaj can be purchased begining on Oct. 11 at 9:00 am. They will be sold at the box office in Schine Student Center, and will be $5 for students, and $10 for staff, faculty, and the public. There is a limit of two tickets per person.
