The Syracuse University Men's Lacrosse Team reclaimed the number one spot in the country Monday after beating Rutgers University 11-5 Sunday night.

The two-time defending national champions started the season with the number one ranking, only to fall to the two and three spot after a loss against Virginia.  With the SU win Sunday night and Virginia's loss Saturday against Duke, SU was able to climb back to the top spot, according to Inside Lacrosse. 

The team picks up where it left off on Saturday afternoon at the Carrier Dome against Providence College.
